Meet Amanda

The woods are my church. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania, my family vacations always involved a tent and a pair of hiking boots. I love to embrace the landscape and all types of weather. I’m a National Park geek.

When I’m not shooting weddings, I’m passionately shooting travel, tourism and conservation projects. I spend most of my free time training dogs and volunteering with K9 Search and Rescue. Have an idea? Reach out! I love bringing unique stories to life.

I graduated with my degree in photography and started my business in 2005 and never looked back. I love my industry and enjoy collaborating with other photography nerds through workshops and conventions to stay up-to-date with current trends and technology.

Meet Ashley

This is a family business. My sister, Ashley, is my shooting partner. We’ve been working together since 2012. We understand each other’s stubbornness and see the world through a lifetime of shared experiences that only siblings can have in common.

We are great in a canoe together.

She is excellent at seeing the angle no one else finds.

Technically, I’m her side hustle. She lives inside of a state park and works from home but loves the outdoors. She also coaches youth sports, trains lifeguards, does CPR certifications, and generally makes the world a better place.

She can also quote every single Disney Pixar movie ever made.

Meet Scout

Our dog, Scout, came into our lives as a tiny puppy in the summer of 2017 and changed everything for the better. She’s a sable german shepherd, a Canine Good Citizen, and the best hiking buddy best friend anyone could ever ask for.

Her hobbies include: biting things, hogging the bed, scanning for danger, and jumping into every body of water she comes across.

She’s a working line shepherd and that makes her my other full time job. After years of learning together, dog training has become a passion that I never get tired of. K9 Search and Rescue was an easy transition for us with lots of practice and adventures in the woods.

My home base is an hour outside of Pittsburgh in rural Pennsylvania, but my heart is always in the mountains. I love that my job let’s me see the world!
