A quick post to share some details from a vintage theme wedding from last year :-)

Ashley and Andrew were married in August 2010 at lingrow farm among family and friends, the hot summer sun, and a killer delicious dinner buffet :-) 

 

 

 

 

 

Andrew and the guys got ready at the barn.  They wore chocolate brown suits with a paisley tie and a pink rose boutonnierre.  Andrew wore ivory.

 

 

After a quick trip to the salon, Ashley and girls relaxed in the farmhouse.  There was a card from Andrew for Ashley to open - inside was a note with a photo of a house.  It turns out that Andrew had been able to secretly purchase the house they had been looking at and surprised her with the news the morning of the wedding!

 

 

 

For their thank you cards, they planned ahead to get some photos with a lettered paper parasol!

This was a wonderful detail.  Ashley collected and displayed lots of old family photos on the wall during cocktail hour.

 

 

 

Placecards displayed on a clothesline, mason jar centerpieces, big jugs of ice tea, and the best dinner buffet I've ever seen at a wedding!  There was tavern ham, beef, eggplant parmesan, vegetables, pasta, and more!

 

 

 

 

 

 

After dinner, guests cut loose on the dance floor :-D

 

 

 

 

 

 

Instead of a cookie table, they had a candy buffet displayed in glass containers with metal scoops!

 

 

 

They rode off into the sunset (literally!) in Andrew's truck - decorated by the wedding party :-)
