What kind of weddings do you shoot?
ALL WEDDINGS!  Everything from elopements on a mountaintop to huge gatherings of your 300 closest family and friends.  The couples we connect with the most are folks who have an adventurous spirit, love the outdoors, dogs, travel, and great food!

How do we book you?
First we chat!  If we are close enough to do it in person, that’s great!  If you’re super busy or can’t meet up, we can talk over the phone or Face Time!  If you’re ready to book, I’ll send over a contract and info sheet and the deposit to hold the date is 30%.

Do you travel?
YES!!  I’ve shot weddings everywhere from New York to Colorado!  I even offer special incentives for events in some of my favorite locations!  Check out My Happy Places!

How far in advance do you book?
The majority of couples book 1-2 years out, but there’s no rhyme or reason to when busy times will fall each year.  Whether your wedding is in 2 years or 2 months, if you’d like me to be there – reach out today!

Do you have a second shooter?
THE BEST second shooter ever IMO.  I’ve been shooting with my sister, Ashley, for nine years now.  We can carry on a full conversation all day in nothing but movie quotes and hand signals.  Seriously though, she is amazing and the hardest working heart I know.  She can find friends anywhere and has an artistic eye that is tuned in to the meaningful moments that happen amid the chaos of a busy wedding day.  She’s also a certified open water lifeguard and can bench press all of our camera gear with one arm.

Do you offer albums, prints, and other products?
I am SO glad you asked!  I mean we don’t make all these beautiful images so they can live an invisible existence on a hard drive somewhere.  We offer prints from wallets up to 20×30, but I’m particularly proud of our albums and wall art selection.  All wedding packages come with an album option or printed piece included!

What is your shooting/editing style?
There are a million words photographers use to try to communicate their style and sound unique.  If I could only pick two words, mine would be REAL LIFE.  We are going to get to know you so when we show up on your wedding day it’s more like having friends with fancy cameras laughing along with you and your wedding party.  I’m going to be on a first name basis with your family.  We keep things fun but organized and know when to step back and let things happen and when to step in and get those family groups lined up with ZERO DRAMA.  After the wedding when it’s time to edit, I’m going to make sure your photos reflect what you want to remember most.  The grass will be green, your bridesmaids’ dresses will match the color you picked, you will have lots of shots of your family, friends, and guests having a great time along side you.  I wont edit the life out of your photos!

We are having an outdoor wedding/location, is the weather going to be a problem?
No.  Not one bit.  I don’t even care if there’s a tornado.  Perks to being an outdoorsy girl: everything I own is waterproof (and insured).  I have four wheel drive. I have snowshoes. I have a kayak.  Challenge me.

Can you help us with decisions?
Absolutely!  I get that for many couples, this is the first time they’ve ever planned an event this big let alone a wedding with all of these people and vendors and moving parts that have to come together!  I’ve done this hundreds of times though and I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t.  Use me!  Ask me stuff!  All of our wedding packages come with something called timeline planning and vendor coordination.  This means we are going to have a phone call about 4 months before your wedding date where I’m going to rapid fire a bunch of questions back and forth with you and help map out hour by hour, event by event, the day of your wedding.  I take all the variables into account like sunset time, drive times between locations, how much time needs to be allotted for getting ready, etc.  I take a bunch of notes and then type up a rough outline of how the timing for everything will go on your day and see if there is anything that needs to be tweaked to make sure you’ve got time for everything that’s important to you and enough time in between to never feel rushed or stressed.  I don’t just want you to have great photos, I want you to have a GREAT EXPERIENCE!

How do we know if you’re the WRONG photographer for us?
Ok so this is not a frequently asked question, but let’s talk it out anyway.  If you don’t actually care very much about your wedding photos but just feel obligated to get someone to shoot something cause that’s what everyone does, you don’t need me.  If you have no interest in going outside or the idea of wet grass is gross to you, you don’t need me.  I want every couple to have the right photographer for their own wedding day because I believe it is one of the most important jobs on the planet.  If you’re not excited to have an amazing day full of love and ridiculous laughter that also includes some outdoor adventure, you don’t need me.  You can find someone probably much cheaper and less involved than me!  On the other hand, if you want to be adventurous and be yourself, I’m your girl.
